This is a draft written to match how this site and its products actually work today. It is not legal advice — have it reviewed by a lawyer in your operating jurisdiction before publishing, and update the bracketed placeholders once your business entity is registered.

Who we are

Offshore Mastery ("we", "us") publishes the Offshore Mastery Job Guide and related products (the Employer & Job-Channel Directory, the CV-building service, and the "Living Offshore Overview" preview). You can reach us at support@offshoremastery.com.

What we collect

Contact form and newsletter signups: your name (if given) and email address.
Purchases: your email address and order details. Payment card details are never seen or stored by us — checkout and billing are handled by Creem, our payment processor and merchant of record.
CV-building service: the CV and any role/job details you send us, used solely to deliver that service.
Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by our hosting provider.

How we use it

To deliver the product or service you purchased.
To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
To send the newsletter and the free "Living Offshore Overview" preview, only to people who signed up for it.
To improve the guide and directory over time.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and deliver products:

Form handling: Netlify Forms, for the contact form and newsletter signup.
Payments: Creem (our payment processor and merchant of record), once checkout is live.
Email delivery: [email service provider — TBD].

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms. We only share what's needed for them to perform their function.

Cookies

This site currently uses only the minimum technical functionality needed to operate — no advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@offshoremastery.com and we'll action it within a reasonable time. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR; if you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA — both are honoured through the same contact process.

Data retention

We keep purchase records as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes, and newsletter/contact data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Children

This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business evolves (for example, once a checkout provider is finalised). We'll update the date at the top when we do.
